This collection helps cover monthly expenses for residents who have exhausted their financial resources. Donations can be mailed or dropped off at: 720 E. Dustman Rd., Bluffton, IN 46714. Thank you in advance for your continued financial and prayerful support of our on-going mission to “provide compassionate, Christ-centered care.”
Christmas gifts for Christian Care residents. The # 1 thing the residents would love is to see family, but since that is not possible at this time. Betty Lough (activity director) suggested a digital Bible that reads to the resident. The digital Bible is called Bible Wonder. Instead of you all ordering one, we thought we would order them so they are all alike. The cost is $25 and at this time there are 43 residents. If you want to participate you can send your donation to Leon & Pat Gerber 1439N 600 E Bluffton, IN 46714 by December 11. We also thought if you would send a signed Christmas card with some encouraging words we will add one to each gift! Thanks for thinking of the residents and helping with the gifts!! Leon & Pat Gerber for Betty Lough (activity director).
For our 2021 Churchwide Bible Study, we plan to do a study on Philippians using a study guide book from ACC Publications. This could be a wonderful opportunity to reconnect as a Church body. Although the book contains 11 lessons, we expect each group will not cover all the lessons, as there will probably only be 6 to 7 meetings. Each Individual group will have the flexibility to select the lessons and structure the frequency and timing of their own meetings. With a goal of providing a good cross section of our church for each group, we prefer you signup to be part of the general pool from which we will form the groups. However, we know that in some cases, people might prefer to use their own group which will work as well. You can sign up using this link or you can contact Clint Gerber to sign up (260-273-0682 / clint@ballersigns.com). Groups will be formed between Christmas and New Year’s Day. Suggested donation is $10 per book.
Let’s remember those living away from home at Christmas. Please submit names and addresses of any missionaries, military personnel, someone experiencing incarceration, or simply those living away from home to Jan Schwartz (273-0261 or janlschwartz@yahoo.com). An updated list of names and addresses can be found here and we will continue to update weekly with additions.
Widow & Widower List can be found here for Bluffton and Bluffton North church families.
